Frequently Asked Questions

In this section we will answer in a simple manner the most frequent doubts and questions about our Day Camp program. If you require more information, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will be more than happy to answer all of your questions!

Our Day Camp facilities are located in Southwest Ranches, FL, 5 minutes south of Weston.

Arrival time is between 8:30am and 9:00am. The Day Camp program ends each day at 3:30pm, and parents have the option of picking their child up at that time, or signing them up for the Extended Care program, from 3:30pm until 5:30pm for an additional cost.

Tribe Leaders and assistants’ ages range from 16 to 20 years old. These staff members will be supervised by a Chief Counselor at least 18 years of age. Additionally, each session counts with the supervision of a Day Camp Director, older than 25 years of age.

Campers are distributed in tribes according to their age group. Each tribe is comprised of 8-12 campers and a Tribe Leader. Younger tribes have a Tribe Leader and an assistant.

Our Day Camp program is designed for campers ages 4-10.

Every lunch is included in our weekly prices, provided by a professional catering service. Additionally, if your child is signed up for the Extended Care program, we include a mid-afternoon snack as well. The only thing we require campers to bring is a labeled water bottle.

Our Day Camp program ends each day at 3:30 pm. For parents who require it, we offer an Extended Care program for an additional cost between 3:30pm-5:30pm.

Each Friday campers perform a closing show in which each tribe present simple activities prepared during the week, from songs to small theater performances. We invite all parents to participate as audience members for this show which takes place at 3:00pm on the last day of each session.

Our #StaffLlanada members receive first aid and incident management training. Our sessions are all equipped with first aid kits. Administration of medications is under the strict supervision of our Day Camp Director, and any medication will be given to a camper only with strict consent from the parents. In case of sicknesses or accidents, parents will be notified immediately in order to properly handle the situation.

Transportation services can be coordinated from different parts of the city for an additional cost. However, a minimum of 5 campers from is required in order to activate the service. For more information, please contact us.

By nature, our program motivates campers to practice Spanish through songs and games. Nevertheless, all of our #StaffLlanada is completely bilingual and trained to support campers who have a language barrier. We never force campers to speak in Spanish, but we make practicing it a fun experience.
