Arrival time is between 8:30am and 9:00am. The Day Camp program ends each day at 3:30pm, and parents have the option of picking their child up at that time, or signing them up for the Extended Care program, from 3:30pm until 5:30pm for an additional cost.
Tribe Leaders and assistants are between 16-20 years old. These members will be supervised by a Chief Counselor at least 18 years of age. Additionally, each session counts with the supervision from a Day Camp Director, older than 25 years of age.
Our Day Camp program is designed for campers ages 4-10.
Every lunch is included in our weekly prices, provided by a professional catering service. Additionally, if your child is signed up for the Extended Care program, we include a mid-afternoon snack as well. The only thing we require campers to bring is a labeled water bottle.
Our Day Camp program ends each day at 3:30 pm. For parents who require it, we offer an ͚Extended Care͛ program for an additional cost between 3:30pm-5:30pm.
Each Friday we perform a closing ceremony show in which campers from each tribe present simple activities prepared during the week, from songs to small theater performances. We invite all parents to participate as audience member for this show which occurs at 3:00pm every last day of each session.
#LlanadaStaff members are trained in first aid and accident handling. Our sessions are all equipped with first aid kits. Medication administration is under the strict supervision of our Day Camp Director, and any medication will be given to a camper with strict consent from the parents. In case of sicknesses or accidents, parents will be notified immediately in order to properly handle the situation.
A transportation serviced can be coordinated from different parts of the city for an additional cost. However, a minimum of 5 campers from each part of the city is required in order to activate the service. For more information, please communicate with us.
By nature, our program motivates campers to practice Spanish through songs and games. Nevertheless, all of our #LlanadaStaff is completely bilingual and trained to support campers who have a language barrier. We never force campers to speak in Spanish, but we make practicing a fun experience.
