ORGANIZATION

La Llanada is an organization with more than 20 years of experience in the world of summer camps and experiential education programs for children, youth and adults. Our programs range from children and adult camps to corporate and family events, always based on our core values such as self-improvement, teamwork and multicultural exchange.

La Llanada was founded 1994 in Acarigua, Venezuela, providing an extraordinary camp experience for campers of all ages.

In 2011 Camp La Llanada opens its doors in the state of Florida, with a wonderful camp location on the shores of Tiger Lake in Lake Wales, 1 hour from Tampa and Orlando and 3 hours from Miami. Operating under the motto “Tu Summer Camp En Español”, Camp La Llanada offers a unique camping experience with a 100%-Spanish program that allows children of Hispanic heritage to reinforce their roots.

Starting in 2012, Camp La Llanada continues to expand its expertise with special programs focused on healthy competition and contact with nature through family events, corporate workshops, field trips, etc.

In 2014 Camp La Llanada inaugurates its first Day Camp program in South Florida. Operating as “Tu Day Camp en Español”, this program serves as a first step for younger campers, preparing them in essential skills such as independence, coexistence and respect for nature.
